Last night, the Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros squared off in one great game of baseball. The game was played at Houston and it was one that fans won’t forget. Both teams played an excellent game, but the Brewers were able to outlast the Astros through 14 innings.

The big story throughout the game was the brilliance of Astros pitcher Justin Verlander. Verlander recorded 15 strikeouts through 7 innings, which is a career high for him. Even with that many strikeouts, it wasn’t enough to take down the Milwaukee Brewers.

Both teams battled back and forth, but a late game homer by Mike Moustakas of the Brewers was enough to edge them by the Astros. It was an extremely exciting game and truly a beautiful game played by both sides.
